Louis Steven Santora began his career as a stage musician and singer. After performing in Pittsburgh with several bands, just out of college, he toured with the musical theater group, Fancy Music, performing piano and vocals and contributing to arrangements.
He left the group for an opportunity to arrange and conduct strings contracted from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to arranging strings, he also performed piano and bass guitar on the album project for Al Mossberg.

Following completion of the album, Santora continued his music career in the recording studio, as a session player, writer, arranger and producer. He wrote and produced the music for the Sargent Sisters Act along with numerous small and mid-market commercials.
Santora was an early adopter of writing with computer software. He developed his skills arranging and orchestrating his songs with midi-based sample instruments. Utilizing the best available sample libraries and synthesizer instruments, he developed a style combining sounds focusing on what best served to enhance each track. In addition to writing and producing vocal tracks, Santora writes instrumental music using the same hybrid scoring techniques.
He went on to form a media services company while continuing to perform as a studio musician, writer and music arranger. The media company produced small and regional market commercial audio for clients including KDKA, Alcoa, and Hanna Barbera. During this time Santora expanded his use of computer technology leading to refined skills in arranging, programming and producing utilizing computer music software. In order to attain efficiency in production Santora utilized his acquired skills to arrange for live performance musicians synchronized with sampled computer-based instruments in a recording environment. Santora has worked in studios in Pittsburgh, Nashville, Los Angeles and New York. He begins production in his own studio located in Pittsburgh.
Louis Steven Santora welcomes the opportunity to be involved in new exciting projects. He offers skill and creative judgement accumulated over decades of music production experience. Santora is equally as comfortable working in his Pittsburgh based studio as he is in studios outside his home base. He has the ability to produce and efficiently provide audio in any requested format. But most important, he has the ability to create music that is emotionally rich.
